Our Philosophy
In the world of sports strength and conditioning there are many complicated programs out there with unrealistically lofty claims that hope to confuse their users into believing they are improving. We instead believe the simplest, safest, and most efficient program is going to be the most effective for athletes and clients. Our approach is focused on our athletes mastering basic movements while we as coaches track their improvement and ensure success through a system of steady, incremental progress. Our plan for success and injury prevention is for athletes to follow a progression whereby they:
- Learn proper movement patterns
- Periodize and progress these movements safely by manipulating each individuals load for the purpose of gaining strength and functional mass (bone, tendon, and muscle)
- Translate these gains into power and explosiveness in sport movements such as sprinting and jumping
- Conditioning the athletes to execute higher power movements repeatedly to be able to endure the strain and fatigue of a match/practice/tournament/season.
